Description

General conditions

The act of registration for participation in any of the programs provided by Rota Combo, receptive operator established at Av. Pres. Vargas, 37 PHB-PI-BR registered with CNPJ 190730520001-16, hereafter simply referred to as the Rota Combo, automatically implies the participant’s adherence to the present GENERAL CONDITIONS, which are governed by articles 1070 to 1091 of the Civil Code combined with articles 6. and 7th. 8078/90 and other provisions of Brazilian law applicable to these cases.

RESPONSIBILITYRota Combo is fully responsible for the fulfillment of the services mentioned with the specific restrictions in these GENERAL CONDITIONS. However, Rota Combo is not responsible for any unpleasant unforeseen events caused by strikes, interdictions, accidents, weather conditions, delays caused by the client or selling agency / operator itself, and possibly those arising from the very characteristic of our ecological tourism, such as bumps, splashes, jams and technical stops.

THE CHARACTER OF SERVICES. There are basically two categories of services provided by Rota Combo. a) Private Services: All tours and transfers are exclusive to the group that hired them and no extra people are allowed. b) Shared or Regular Services: All tours and transfers will be performed in groups, being allowed to the Rota Combo the right to include extra people at any time of the trip regardless of the type of tour and transfer performed. The Rota Combo  guarantees the safety of its passengers never exceeding the capacity of each vehicle approved by the competent agencies.

REGULAR CHARACTER OF SERVICES:

1 – Each service and schedule are reconfirmed the night before its execution, and it is of crucial importance that customers correctly inform their places of embarkation and are at their reception, already packed, and checked in. Rota Combo Turismo Ltda reserves the right not to embark passengers who do not comply with this requirement, thus safeguarding the smooth running of the group as a whole.

2 – Baggage limits of up to 10 kg per person must be strictly respected and may even disembark the excess baggage. If you weigh more than 10 kg, ask us (or your travel agent) about your additional payment.

3 – For ground transfers, cars, 4 × 4, vans, minibus and bus (all with air conditioning) may be used, according to the expected number of people.

4 – For off-road services we will use pickups  adapted for this type of terrain.

5 – By the very concept of the service, there may be variations and changes of routes and times due to natural conditions.

6 – We are not responsible for lost connections with other services (ground transfers, air and tours, etc.) due to possible delays. We are solely responsible for the connecting services offered in Rota Combo’s own portfolio.

7 – On days when there are shared transfers from Parnaíba, the departures will be between 5:30 am and 6:30 am approximately, and from Barra Grande between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, and may not benefit of the morning breakfast.

8 – On the route between Jericoacoara / Barra Grande / Parnaíba, there are no places to eat with good quality standards, so only snack stops will be made during the route. We even advise you to take snacks despite the strategic stops.

9 – Because it is a regular service, there is little or no malleability in the stops stipulated by the guide.

10 – At arrival of the shared transfer to any destination, the group will go directly to the food point, support point or the final destination, either by means of lodging or by tour, under the sole and exclusive decision of Rota Combo Turismo Ltda, absolutely guided by the criterion of safeguarding logistics, and thus providing greater comfort to the group as a whole, to the detriment of the individual interest of each traveler.

LUGGAGE. Rota Combo expressly disclaims all liability in the event of loss, damage or theft of luggage that may occur for any reason. For this reason, we recommend that passengers always witness the loading and unloading of luggage. Baggage allowance is 10kg per person in non-rigid luggage for shared services. For private services, the luggage limit is 10kg per person for groups of 4 (four) or more people; 15kg per person for groups with 3 (three) people; 20kg per person for groups of 2 (two) people, in non-rigid bags. If there is any additional cost arising from excess baggage, it will be borne by the passenger.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TOURIST DESTINATIONS. Passengers here are aware that some accommodation, restaurants or services available have the  characteristics of their communities, many of them still in tourism development, and may not meet the highest standards of travelers and / or agency and operator. These features provide the traveler with a unique experience, but may eventually lead to some discomfort.

THE CHANGE OF ITINERARYRota Combo reserves the right, in the interest of passengers or for reasons of force majeure – factors beyond our control -, to make necessary changes in itineraries, services and accommodation, replacing them with others of the same category. The sudden change suggested by the passenger to the previously agreed and agreed itinerary will have its relevance  evaluated regarding safety, adequacy to the program and availability of schedule. All extra costs will be paid by the passenger alone.

IMPORTANT. The simple act of signing up to participate in or resell our tour programs implies that nothing should be understood or imagined as included if not specifically described in the itineraries. Promises of facilities and / or advantages will only be valid when confirmed in writing by Rota Combo.

PERSONAL DOCUMENTS. All passengers must carry their personal documents, including those provided by Rota Combo such as vouchers, receipts and travel insurance cards (when granted).

TRAVELER SAFETY. Acceptance of these general conditions implies that the traveler, regardless of age or physical condition, is aware that he / she will participate in activities on risky terrain and conditions. Although managed and controlled, such risks are intrinsic in nature to ecotourism and adventure tourism, and therefore can not completely eliminate any injuries and setbacks, and that by accepting these General Conditions they are of the sole responsibility and knowledge of the traveler.

RESERVATIONS. Reservations for services provided by Rota Combo will be requested by customers directly by email, fax or correspondence via post office or through another travel agency / operator. The reservation will be made with the payment of 50% (fifty percent) of the total amount of the itinerary purchased, as a guarantee for the performance of the services. The other portion of 50% (fifty percent) of the total amount of the itinerary purchased will be paid 5 (five) days before the start of the trip. Other forms of payment and installment are subject to prior written negotiation.

CANCELLATION. At any time the customer or reseller agency / operator may cancel the requested and contracted services, being entitled to the deposit previously paid according to the following conditions:

  1. a) For cancellations less than 30 working days, retention of 10% of the total trip value;
  2. b) For cancellations less than 15 working days, retention of 30% of the value of the trip;
  3. c) For cancellation less than 7 working days, retention of 50% of the value of the trip;
  4. d) For cancellation less than 48 hours (no show), failure to submit or withdraw all or part of the services at the initiative of the passenger, he / she will not be entitled to any return.

CANCELLATION IN COMMEMORATIVE DATES (CARNIVAL, EASTER, CHRISTMAS, REVEILON) AND EXTENDED HOLIDAYS. At any time the customer or reseller agency / operator may cancel the requested and contracted services, being entitled to the deposit previously paid according to the following conditions:

  1. a) For cancellations with more than 30 working days, retention of 10% of the total value of the trip;
  2. b) For cancellations less than 30 business days, retention of 80% of the value of the trip.
  3. c) For cancellation less than 15 working days, retention of 100% of the value of the trip;

COMPLAINTS. They must be made in writing through our fax (55) 86-3323 9888, rotacombo@rotacombo.com, correspondence to our address informed above or through the agency / operator where our itinerary was eventually acquired, within the deadline of thirty (30) days from the end of the trip so that we can offer the best solution to the case.

OF REGISTRATION DATA. Direct customers and reseller agencies / operators undertake to make all passengers personal data available to us, which data will be under the sole custody of Rota Combo for the sole purpose of internal control and registration.

ADHESION. By applying for any travel program organized by Rota Combo, the customer and / or reseller agency / carrier declares that he / she knows and agrees to all the terms of these General Conditions.
